Factor Group worked for over a year on The Kosciuszko Bridge Replacement Project (Phase 2) in Brooklyn and Queens, NY. In addition to providing expert waste characterization sampling and report preparation services, Factor’s scope included trucking and off-site beneficial reuse and disposal of approximately 90,000 tons of excavated non-hazardous and hazardous soil. Despite being the most mispronounced and misspelled bridge in Metro NYC, K-Bridge is a critical part of many New Yorkers’ commute, with a throughput of over 160,000 cars per day. We are grateful to have partnered with Granite Construction Northeast, Bove Industries, and the NYS Department of Transportation as part of this amazing team that managed to get this beautiful bridge up and running for New Yorkers under seemingly impossible deadlines!
